เนื้อเมฆพัดเป็นเนื้อมาตรฐานที่นิยมกันในปัจจุบัน เนื้อโลหะเมฆพัดเกิดจากการนำแร่มาหุงเข้าด้วยกัน แล้วซัดด้วยกำมะถัน มีสีดำเป็นมัน แววเป็นสีคราม พิมพ์ที่นิยมเป็นมาตรฐานคือ พิมพ์ท้องแฟบหรือพิมพ์หูกระต่าย และพิมพ์สะดือจุ่น

พระปิดตาเนื้อเมฆพัด เนื้อพระจะเป็นสีน้ำเงินเข้มอมดำ เคลือบเขียวสวยงาม น้ำหนักตึงมือ ที่สำคัญจะไม่ปรากฏรอยพรุนของโพรงอากาศเลย เนื้อเรียบสนิท บริเวณนิ้วพระหัตถ์จะมีรอยตะไบตกแต่ง และมีรอยจารอักขระ ซึ่งหลวงปู่นาคจารด้วยตัวเองทุกองค์ โดยจะลงตัวนะคงคา อันเป็นนะสำคัญ ซึ่งต้องระเบิดน้ำลงไปลงอักขระและท่านจะปลุกเสกเดี่ยวของท่านทุกองค์
