Somdej Toh (1788-1872, B.E. 2431-2415), was one of the most famous Buddhist monks during Thailand’s Rattanakosin Period. Somdej Wat Rakang is perhaps the most valued and rare of all Amulets in Thailand’s amulet world.
It is said that Phra Somdej amulets are very powerful and can keep their power forever because of the technique Somdej Toh learned for filling them with power.
The magical powers of Phra Somdej amulets range from protection, enhanced personal relationships, better health, protection from black magic, blocking disasters, strengthen careers as well as adjusting the human aura field. Most importantly, it can help bring peace to different walks of life.
“Pim” in the context of Thai amulets refers to the different models or versions of a particular amulet. Each Pim has distinct characteristics in terms of design, posture, and features. Somdej Toh, being a highly revered monk, has various Pims associated with the amulets he consecrated.
